Good stuff....

Well things are looking good....

-I finally got my house thoroughly cleaned...yes! No more excessive dust bunnies.
-I've got at least a basic and tentative itinerary down for my home church's mission trip to Mexico this summer, July 26-August 4.
-There may be at least one, possibly two other groups coming here this summer, which I will be working with to plan their trip.
-I joined a gym (finally!!) and although I have been slightly unfaithful this week, I am excited about the new weight and exercise class program I'm doing and hopefully soon will be able to tone up a lot more and shed some more pounds!
-Darlene, Zina and I are sticking faithful to the new diet and exercise.
-I have my meeting with Carlos and Monica tomorrow and I am very excited to finally get pinned out a ministry schedule and get into things. I feel much more prepared now than I did a year ago. Pray for this meeting and that we will be able to clearly define a good plan in which I can work and minister.
-My parents are going to most likely come for my church's mission trip and also stay an additional week, so that means family vacation to the beach in August! It's a long way off, but I am already excited:)
-I am most likely also going to get to go visit my Uncle Dave, Aunt Donna, and cousins Meghan and Jack when they come to Morelia, Mexico on a missions trip at the beginning of March (still a ways off, but again, I am already excited:))
-I got to spend time with some new mexican friends in the church in Atizapan (technically in Tlalnepantla) this Sunday, going out to eat and to a movie. One of my yearly goals was making more close friends and these people are my age and seem to really like hanging out. I am excited to have more close Christian friends my age. Tonight I am going to eat dinner with Darlene and their family. On Sunday also several more of the youth from Atizapan went with as well. Thank God for more new friends!

That's about all for now. Thanks for your prayers and please continue to pray as this week, tomorrow and the next few weeks are really decisive in how exactly I'll be ministering as a missionary here in Mexico. I will always continue to work as a church-planter in that I am working to help in the planting of new churches, and help assist already established churches to plant and start new works in areas where there is no church. Just pray that I'll be able to use the gifts God's given me in the way that He can most effectively use me and best use me. Its easy for us to just decide to work anywhere and be used, but I want to choose the area where I will really be able to work best, and serve best, with the people I'll be able to serve best with and under, and in the area that really needs me the most. That is a difficult decision.
