More pictures! Kari, Sarahlynn, and me on the last day of class, both girls are now back in the states!
And another picture of the sun glistening off rocks and ocean during vacation at Manual Antonio National Park.
Well another week completed here and we're all still enjoying vacation from classes! Only the weekend and Monday and Tuesday left before we start up again with a new trimester. I'm looking forward to studying a bit, actually. I found out my new schedule will be Grammar from 7:30-8:20 each morning and then an hour of private conversation tutoring from 8:25-9:15 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. This is great because it will allow me to continue teaching English Wednesday mornings and Tuesday afternoons. That was something I was praying for with my class schedule.
Yesterday I finally got my Packet8 internet phone set up and its working now, so you can call from the US like you would any number from the US. It's a Grove City PA area code:
724-870-4785
I also helped Howard with some Chronological Bible storying assignments. I wish I would have known earlier that the seminar was open to anyone who wanted to take it. I had quite a few seminars of training in that with ABWE, but its something that I know I will use and would like to learn more in. Anyhow, we wrote out a "fast track" of the entire Bible, just the main, important points of the entire story of Old and New Testaments, from creation to Jesus' ascension. Quite interesting but lots of work.
Today I am happy that Sabrina actually called as she promised and invited me over to her house for spending the afternoon with her family. She is costa rican young girl, a few years younger than me, and made a decision to trust in Christ two weeks ago. However, she seems to still not understand. I will go to spend the afternoon with her at 1:30 and then go on to the AMCA house dedication night at 7 pm. I'm taking my Bible so pray I have the chance to talk and better help her understand salvation.
This weekend is pretty normal for me, just teaching English and probably spending time helping my little sister get adjusted to life here, showing her around, and spending some time with Helmer as well.
Hope you all have a good weekend, thanks for the comments!
Bethany
