Well today was quite the long day, started off rough, but, after that went to English classes and taught the "principiantes II" level and went over "Are there?" and "Is there?" as well as the answers "There are" and "There is." The students were so responsive and so fun today. They really grasped the concept too, which makes my job a lot easier, and very rewarding to see the "light come on" in their heads! After that, I worked ALL afternoon on getting my Packet8 VOIP phone set up, to no avail, and it is still not working. Tomorrow I'll dedicate a few hours more to spending on the phone with technical support. Who knows why this isn't working! Pray that it does, seriously!
Tonight was Bible study and it was so good to see both of the girls I invited come!!!! Sabrina is so excited also, she is all of the sudden really opening up more and she even asked me to come to dinner at her house before I go to the AMCA house dedication ceremony Friday night. It will be so nice to spend the evening with another female just getting to know her and her family. Pray also, as she accepted Christ two weeks ago but then tonight asked for prayer for her salvation. I am concerned she may not really understand salvation and so I am praying for the chance to talk more with her about what it means to be saved by Christ.
Had some interesting comments and "discussions" during the study tonight. It seems really hard to keep them on topic, as they tend to veer off due to the fact that most of them have NEVER studied the Bible before individually, let alone in a group Bible study. Pray that we will be able to tackle the hard questions they ask and keep to the more important basic topics first. Pray also for Steven who didn't make it for one reason or another tonight. Also for Marvin who came for the first time but has a long, long way to travel and has such a desire to come. Pray we might be able to find a day or time that works better for everyone.
Well I'm tired, a long day, and I still have some studying to finish up tonight.
Gracias por sus oraciones y pensamientos, Gracias por su apoyo en todas maneras!
Betania, Bethany, or as some tended to call me, Stephanie
*note: Stephanie has never been my name in English or Spanish :) But I respond to most names I am called, including Bethany, Beth, Bet or Betty (my tico parents call me this), Brittney (Antonio in Mexico and my home church pastor called me by this name), Britania (numerous latins), Be-tan-eeeeee (latins trying to say "Bethany"), and Stephanie (many teachers and people throughout my life), not to mention many, many nicknames or "apodos" in Spanish and English.

We are praying for you, and all those you mentioned in your blog. God is using you tremendously, and we know HE has a great ministry ahead for you, as well as now.
Blessings on you, dear one.
We loved our times together, and made many wonderful memories. Thanks for being so gracious to us while we were with Howard.
Trust you can get your Packet 8 connected soon. It is so wonderful to have that available to you.
Blessings to you this day.
Lovingly,
-Jean and Roger-
